Modeling in the Funky Fresh Fashion Show

"We've been told by business owners, politicians and celebrities, that this is one of the most fun, upbeat and funky fresh events to be a part of. To participate as a funky fresh model, the minimum contribution is $1000 to Inglewood Police Activities League (IPAL).

The Funky Fresh Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Loyola Marymount University, University Hall.

Proceeds from this fashion show will benefit the IPAL Program year-round services to help prevent and reduce juvenile crime and delinquency in the City of Inglewood.

The fashion show will consist of many different "models" showcasing their personally chosen attire from one of the following four categories:

  1. Casual
  2. Business/Professional
  3. Black-tie
  4. Ethnic/Cultural

The models will also select the type of music they want to model to:

  1. Rock & Roll,
  2. Motown and R&B,
  3. Jazz,
  4. Pop & Hip Hop.

The models will come from various businesses and organizations.  

Models will include politicians, students, law enforcement personnel and entrepreneurs. All models receive ten (10) admission tickets to the fashion show with their minimum contribution of $1,000. Models can sale their tickets for $100 each or give them to friends and family. Additional individual tax deductible tickets are $100 each and may be purchased online or by contacting us at (310) 412-5617.

You can purchase individual tickets for the Funky Fresh Fashion Show in the following ways:

1)   Come to our City of Inglewood Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department office (City Hall, 5th Floor-1 Manchester Boulevard, Inglewood, CA 90301) and ask to purchase tickets for the fashion show.

2)  Purchase them through PayPal.

3)   Download and complete this ticket purchase form and mail it to One Manchester Blvd., Suite 500, Inglewood, CA 90301, ATTN: Sandra Green-Hilliard / Funky Fresh Fashion Show. We will contact you once we have received your payment.

IPAL is recognized by the Internal Revenue service as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. This program relies on city, state, federal and foundation grants, as well as donations from the community. To continue the on-going success financial support is crucial. Your donation will assist us in implementing new and alternative programming for the youth in our community as well as maintain current programs, which provide much needed direction and focus for the children’s path in becoming productive citizens.
